Walk for Schools
Apr 30 - Richmond, Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky University is stepping out to Take The Walk in an effort to help build schools in Africa!
It all started with a 30 minute speech in a Personality Psychology class on someone inspirational. Blake Mycoskie not only has inspired this class, but his One for One model has inspired companies and individuals worldwide to make a difference.
Along with Eastern Kentucky University's annual "Undie Run" in efforts to donate clothes to The Salvation Army, this year EKU is stepping out to Take The Walk in an effort to help build schools in Africa!
This event is scheduled to take place Friday April 30th at 4:00pm on the track. There will not only be live music, food and inflateables, but also iPod door prizes at this event.
So come out, walk a mile and for every walker, $1 will be donated towards building schools in Africa!
