Walk for Shoes

This is a reschedule of my original May 8th walk. The approval board in my city brought this date to me as a better alternative.

I plan on having this walk in our downtown area of Midland, MI. We have a 3-legged foot bridge and walking area that is an identifiable landmark to easily direct people to the start location.

I have been throwing ideas around with friends/family/coworkers ever since I did the walk in Detroit in October. I was very inspired by the simplicity of giving shoes and the tremendous effects that shoes have!

I plan on having a very large turnout based on early preparation.
