Walk with Africa for Africa one- mile barefoot.
Africans staying in Lafayette Louisiana want to walk with YOU! We will have the one-mile barefoot walk to experience the lack of shoes. After the walk, African food will be provided along with African singers and speakers. We want to spread awareness of aids and poverty in Africa. Speakers will share testimonies and video of their lives in Africa. Help us spread awareness and take action, take the walk with AFRICA.
Please be on the property before 11:45. The enterance will be blocked for the walkers. We encourage you to walk barefoot and stay after to meet people from West Africa.
